A physician referral is not required to seek therapy services. The one exception is if you have an HMO health plan that requires primary care physician to issue a referral. With the freedom to choose where you seek therapy services you are only limited by whether the provider participates with your health plan. Since we at Stoneking Physical Therapy and Wellness are network providers for virtually all health plans, there are no barriers to accessing our services. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your plan.

Spine stabilization exercises are incorporated into all patient programs. Spine stabilization teaches patients to maintain the spine in a neutral position to protect it from strain, and prevent future episodes of pain. All patients are taught an appropriate home exercise program for self-maintenance.
